Randy Hawkins

Council President


Randy Hawkins is a native of Horseshoe Bend, ID and a graduate of Emmett High School, the University of Idaho and the Pacific Coast Banking School. Hawkins began his 38 year banking career in Boise with subsequent assignments in Nampa, Idaho Falls, Challis and Pocatello, prior to coming to Burley in 1989. Randy and his wife, Kathleen, have one daughter and one grandson. Hawkins is the current President of the Council and serves on its Public Works, Public Safety and Recreation Committees.

Community Service

Active in the community, he is a past president of the Burley Rotary Club and the Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce (recognized as 1994 "Member of the Year" for service to the chamber and its trade area.) He also previously served as a director of Golden Heritage Senior Center and is a past chairman of the Idaho Bankers Association Agricultural Committee. An Avid golfer, Hawkins is also a past president of the Burley Municipal Golf Course Men's Association. He was one of the founding directors and is currently the Vice President of the Cassia County Education Foundation.
