Transformer Bid Documents for Advertised RFQ Due June 9, 2023. Transformer RFQ Document - Bid Transformer Specification
The City of Burley works hard to maintain the electric distribution grid in order to minimize power interruptions to your homes and businesses with a 99.9 percent "Power ON" success rate. Most customers experience less than 3 hours of outage time per year. We do encounter situations that cause power outages on our electric grid. Planned or unplanned outages (vehicle accidents, trees falling, rodents/birds getting in the power line, etc.) we want to minimize power outages to our customers. If you or someone in your household has a life-threatening medical condition you may want to have a backup plan should a power interruption occur.
The City of Burley ordinance requires that customers who do not pay their utility bills will be disconnected for nonpayment. Utility payments are due on the 10th of each month. A fee is assessed if the payment is received after the 10th and the electricity will be disconnected if the payment is not received by the 20th of the month. A life-threatening medical condition, small children in the home or financial hardship does not relieve a customer of the obligation to pay for the electric service (and other utilities) and the power will be disconnected for non-payment regardless of the situation.
