This department is responsible for planning, zoning, building permits and inspections within the City of Burley. Planning and Zoning is performed by the chief building official and the Planning and Zoning Committee. These individuals with the help and support of city staff, update the Comprehensive plan, review subdivision plats, and review and recommend zoning changes to the Burley City Council.
The City of Burley issues building permits within the City of Burley. Electrical, and plumbing permits are issued by the State of Idaho. Do not commence any construction without consulting the Chief Building Official. The city zoning map and building permit is available online by following the links below.
