The Administration Department is composed of the City Administrator (Mark A. Mitton), City Clerk (Ellen Maier), Economic Development Director (Doug Manning), a Payroll Clerk, Utility Billing Clerk, Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk, Customer Service Clerk, and Human Resources.
The Department calculates and processes all utility bills, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, records and transcribes the minutes of all City Council meetings and Planning and Zoning meetings. The City Clerks Office also provides records management, maintains information for both City Cemeteries, processes beer, wine and liquor license applications, catering permits, fireworks licenses, park reservations, general information and public records requests.
Economic development activities are carried out by the Economic Development Director and the City Administrator. The City Administrator and City Clerk provide financial support for all City Departments, City Council and external auditors. The City Administrator is also responsible for supervising all departments of the City and risk management, processing tort claims, health insurance, liability insurance, workmen compensation claims and property insurance.
